CHRIS DELLEA

Christina MG Dellea was born and raised in Tarrytown, New York. Coming from a musical family, and never being shy, it wasn’t any surprise to hear her passionately sing at the age of four. She continued to sing in school, and church choruses where the childhood dream grew into the lifelong passion she now shares in many different ways. She also played the saxophone at an early age throughout school in many bands and orchestras- making all county/all state levels.

Singing became the focus, after continuing to play the sax through college, while performing in college band circuits, at restaurants, parties, weddings, and many other venues. Although an accomplished soloist, her intrinsic ability to harmonize made local fame. Soon hand percussion and piano dabbling became a part of the act. She traveled to the west coast and the south adding studio work to her list of credits. Two original works include “A Christmas Poem” and “Dream vs Reality”.

After moving back east to Hillsdale NY, where she met her husband Phillip, she began to perform throughout the tri state area in many festivals and various venues.

Currently, she performs as a soloist; with two popular duos (Harmony & Heart and Us Too); with many choruses, and in the studios. A CD called “Roe Jan Valley” was released by US TOO in late 2002. Another US TOO CD is in the works, as well as a much awaited solo CD.

In addition to this, her new projects to benefit and entertain the Roe Jan area, in collaboration with local actors and musicians, include her coffeehouse concert series, (soon to resume) which led to the Copake Theatre Company’s debut; and the Saturday Night Liv Variety Show in which she performs and assists with production.
